My Story

As Children & Family Health Devon's Safeguarding Team, this is our 3rd year fundraising for the NSPCC, the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. 

On Friday 19th December as a team (with our dogs 🐾) we are completing a 5km walk at sunrise in our beautiful rural Devon countryside.

Every childhood should be full of joy and free from abuse. By supporting the NSPCC, we can help change children's lives;

£54 could pay for a Childline supervisor for 2 hours, supporting our volunteer counsellors.

£150 could pay for one helpline practitioner shift, supporting adults worries about a child's welfare.

£300 could pay to answer 75 children's calls to Childline when they need to be heard.

The NSPCC help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse. That's why we're here. That's what drives all our work. And that is why as long as there's abuse we will fight for every childhood.
